HPP1 Hydraulic set Permanent Packer
The HPP1 Hydraulic-Set Permanent Packer is set in the well casing to divert casing-to-tubing flow. It is hydraulically set by applying pressure to the tubing string. The HPP1 packer is mechanically locked in the set position by the internal slip. An external set of opposing mechanical slips holds the packer against downward and upward forces. Once the packer is set, it cannot be released. However, the packer can be drilled or milled out.
